Unimax is made to the MAXTRA fitting and drops into Brita's international jugs as well as Dafi's own. It is the mainstream answer to the observation that the jug cost fifteen pounds and the cartridges have since cost a hundred. Fit tolerance is slightly tighter than the original, so seat it firmly and check there is no gap — a cartridge sitting proud lets unfiltered water bypass the filter entirely, which is a silent failure.
